Diablo 3 Test Configuration

Postby ric » Thu Jul 26, 2012 4:19 pm

Hi Guys,

Attached to this post is a configuration file for Diablo 3.

For those who wish to test it, simply download the file and replace the one in your Smoothping folder.

Once copied, Open a dos prompt and navigate to c:/program files (x86)/smoothping elite or c:/program files/smoothping elite

Once there, type the following two commands to reset the game profiles. This only has to be done once.

smoothpingelite.exe -rgp (enter)

Wait about 20 seconds

smoothpingelite.exe (enter)

Finally, Elite should now be open.

If all goes well, Diablo 3 will be included in the next update.

So far I've tried server LA 5, I'm playing from Rhode Island and i'm getting playable pings between 76-103ms. I'll be testing it further.

The config file following the instructions provided worked marvelously. Once connected to a server no matter if its just for WoW the game should route itself through smoothping (for those doubting how to connect).

More to come!

Thank you for the feedback, abuekeg!

For the others who tested the config file, please feel free to provide a feedback so we will know if it is working for everyone.

Thanks!
